I have ordered 6 bags of Miracle-Gro 50L compost, and Holbury Hardware delivered it this afternoon, so along with the 2x 50L compost bags that I already have, it makes 8 bags altogether.

Enough to plant 6 x red toms, 6 x yellow toms and 24 marigold plug plants with enough to grow some salad items, french beans, nasturtiums and busy lizzies, as well as the red and yellow patio raspberries due to be delivered soon and whatever else I can think of. 🙂

I earthed up all the potatoes, in bags or veg trug 2, and I did some weeding in veg trug 1 ready for some salad items: lettuces, radishes and wild rocket.

I will also utilise some of the big black pots for some of the salad plants.

Finally, we have sourced a maxi bag of bark chippings to lay on the ground, just need to price up the weed sheets to prevent regrowth.
