Windy Friday
The wind last night and today was gusting very strongly and it was not a day really for gardening as such.
However, the bark chippings arrived – a huge maxi bag of them! I hope that they will be enough for both sides of the back garden.
While in the garden today, I noticed that the Parsnips and Spring Onions have germinated – hurray!
The Petunia pot is starting to flower which is great, but I really need to get the watering system running for the plants, especially the Geraniums.
Tuesday, the 6 bags of compost arrived from Holbury Hardware, and the Patio yellow Raspberry arrived but I decided that it was far too windy to plant it up, hopefully by the weekend the wind will have died down and it will be dry enough for me to plant that.
The Marigold plugs came today, and I will pot them up in the 9cm pots to grow on a bit.
The Tomato plants may arrive at the weekend too, so I think that I might be a little busy 🙂
