Saturday in May
Following yet another line loss, I had to go into QAH to have another line inserted. It was a long day from getting up at 6am to getting home by 8.30pm.
So, following a chat with my lovely hubby, he phoned to say that I was an emotional wreak and I was going to have the whole weekend off. This was OK because I had 2 hours of dialysis that afternoon following the new line insertion, so as far as dialysis was concerned, I would be good until my next appointment on Tuesday.
It was a beautiful day out on Saturday, so hubby woke me up at 10.30am to go outside and enjoy the sunshine.
I managed to get some energy and motivation to sow some salad seeds, apart from Wild Rocket which I have run out of seeds 🙁
Three types of Lettuce: Valmaine, Lollo Rossa and Little Gem, Beetroot Bolthardy, Royal Chantenay Carrots 2, Radish Flamboyant 3, Leeks Lincoln, and Spring Onion White Lisbon.
After watering, I also watered the veg trug where, hopefully, some germination will take place shortly. (fingers crossed).
Around the Rose Blue Moon, there were a load of weeds growing, so I got rid of them, walked down to the very full compost bins and put the weeds in them. looking at the garden as a whole there are many ares that have weeds/nettles growing, which will undoubtably be my next job to do.
However, I am going to take some time out to sow some flower seeds and also put the herb seed pots out into the garden to grow in the sunshine, eventually needing bigger pots.
The flowers that I have seeds for are these: Marigold Patula Orange, Dwarf Sunflowers (Seeds of Hope), Primula Drumstick Mixed and Cosmos Sensation Mixed.
I also have some Seeds for Bees (38 Degrees), which I could sow into 2 of the dog trugs
