Lazy Day Sunday
I was expecting Lewis to come over but he is feeling unwell, so my gardening plans have gone sideways 🙁
My own health, well my operation site, is a little painful and I have to watch what I am doing with my arm.
Nevertheless, I knew that my MoneyMaker tomatoes really needed to be planted out and attached to canes to give them some support. So, they have been planted in large black pots and put in a sunny position.
I then proceeded to water the garden because the plants really needed a drink. The courgette is beginning to lift its leaf out of the soil, as is the marigold flowers too.
The herbs are not doing well, but they might perk up soon. The other tomatoes at the bottom of the garden have not germinated yet, but there is still time.
The potatoes need earthing up and I really need to get on with sowing the flower seeds, the swede and either the calabrese or brussel sprout seeds if I have them. I have also to sow the lemon balm and the sweet marjoram herbs too.
Once all the seed sowing is done all I have to do is water and feed the plants and get rid of the weeds, then hopefully, I will have somethings to harvest later.
