April Sowings
Well, March was a bummer, we got the dreaded lurghey and my home haemo training was delayed by 2 weeks, this had a large impact on sowing seeds.
So I am now back on track and have sown some herb seeds today:
Oregano, Coriander, Parsley, Thyme and Basil
They are now on the kitchen windowsill, 2 of them are in home made propagators (ie clear plastic bags tied with ribbon from Bloom and Wild.
Easter Monday, I intend (if I get the energy) to sow Dwarf Toms: Garden Pearl – Red; Gold Nugget – Yellow ; Cucumber Masterpiece; Marigolds – Dwarf French Double Mixed; Dwarf Sunspot Sunflowers and Beetroot Detroit 6.
I might even sow some sweetcorn Pot of Gold F1 too
As it was a lovely sunny spring day, I walked down to the garden and saw the Prunus incisa ‘Kojo-No-Mai in bloom and a couple of the fruit trees were beginning to stir!
Our Rhubarb plant is growing well and we may be able to harvest a few stalks soon 🙂
