vegetables

I have been busy

Since March, I have sown, planted out and bought several garden accessories.

I am the proud owner of a 8ft x 6ft shed, I also have a shredder so that the cut down hedge material can be shredded, then put into my garden waste bin, ready for NFDC to collect it.

Finally, I bought a gardeners seat with wheels! So I can zip up and down the garden path to tend to my plants.

My greenhouse has been tidied up and has now got some staging for my seedlings.

The garden itself has been undergoing a transformation, Shahinur with his friend have begun to reorganise my plant containers into a semblance of a beautiful garden.

The veg trug and troughs have moved to a better place for me to tend, and my bench has been moved to the concrete patio.

There is still loads to do.

New plants this season include a Wisteria Amethyst Falls, a Gooseberry Invicta and a Kiwi Jenny, as well as the usual veg plants:

potatoes, leeks, onions – red and brown, carrots, cabbage, cauliflower, peas, salad stuff, raspberries, strawberries, a duo apple – with braeburn and bramley apples growing, herbs, peppers, marigolds, petunias, lavender, geraniums, zinnia, sweet potatoes, cucumbers, courgettes – green and yellow, corn, dwarf french beans, swede and tomatoes.

So watch this space!
