House Plants

I have split the Mother-in-Laws Tongue plant and re-potted into a larger pot with 2 long leaves and 2 cut leaves.
All I will need to do is to mist the leaves rather than water the soil.
All of the leaves have been dipped in cinnamon to help with rooting as it kills bacteria and reduces fungal growth. Edit 26.03.20 The Snake plant seems to be holding its own, so I am keeping my fingers crossed.
I have also thoroughly watered the Swiss Cheese Plant today as it needed some attention, I hope that it will be sufficient to bring it back. Edit 26.03.20 The Monstera has revived and is sitting by the Yucca Plant in the kitchen looking much better.
Propagator has now been filled with the following:
from the left – Tomato Tiny Tim, Pepper California Wonder, Marigold Tomato Growing Secret, Celery Tango F1, Chilli Pepper Anaheim, and Sweet Pepper Etiuda Orange. There is one box left which I will fill in the morning, along with Pea Meteor in the back garden.
I have also decided that I will not bother with many flowers, just concentrate on vegetables and herbs.
I will keep the peppers and chillies in the greenhouse when they are ready to be potted on into bigger pots.
I have just ordered Casablanca Potatoes (2 KG) seed potatoes and 4 potato grow bags –
- Harvest 10-12 weeks after planting
- Good resistance to disease
- White skin
- Perfect for chipping, baking, boiling, roasting and mashing
