Yesterday, we had the wood chips laid on the left hand side of the garden, instead of clumps of grass. Underneath is a layer of weed suppression material.

I have planted the Sungold tomatoes in 1 litre pots and placed in the garden.

Both them and the Gardeners Delight tomatoes on the amazon shelf unit. I will also leave a Marigold plant nearby to deter pests.

I also received the hanging pot and shepherds crook for the Tumbling Tom and some Marigold plants which have been planted up, just got to set up the hook into the ground in the morning.

The other Tomato plant (name unknown) has been repotted into a larger pot and will stay outside on the storage box.

2x Courgette seeds have germinated and have been repotting separately in 1 litre pots and will stay outside on the storage box..

Jobs for Sunday

• Set up the Shepherd’s Hook into the ground in the morning with John’s help.
• Rest of the jobs will be done over the next few days or so.
