Sundays Jobs
I don’t know if I will achieve all of them today, but I will try my hardest (the ones not in bold will have to be done another day).
- Sow some flower and herb seed – use 9cm pots, then 1 litre pots
- Sow some lettuce, radishes and beetroot in the 8 section bag or start off in 9cm pots then plant out when I have more compost (need more compost first)
- Start to get rid of the weeds in the pots and containers ready for new plants
- Labelled the parsnips, spring onions and carrots bags
- Planted strawberries in their bag
- Planted the rest of the spuds in veg trug 2
- Moved the rhubarb at the back of the orchard
- Sowed Cucumber and Courgette seeds in the propagator
I found some Thyme growing in a pot, so, I pulled it up and replanted it in another pot and placed it by the Rosemary.
Hopefully, it will not mind the transplant and continue to grow well.
I think that I will put the rest of the herbs there as it catches the sun very well.
Looked at the Lavender and took a cutting, used some rooting powder and put it in a small pot to see if it grows roots,.
Keeping my fingers crossed because I could do it again and have more Lavender plants – you can never have enough Lavender in the garden or home. 🙂
If it works it can be placed by the Rosemary and Thyme on the bench.
