pea pod

Catch-Up

I have been checking on the garden daily and have observed that the Sweet Peas have germinated and are steadily growing, however, not all of them are growing, so I will need to add some more at the weekend.

The Lettuce and Rocket have germinated and are growing in rows.

I am really pleased that the cabbage, swede and cauliflower have germinated and I will keep a watch on them so that I can re-pot them before I move them to their final growing space in the veg trug or the dog troughs.

The single Nasturtium has 4 leaves, the cornflower seedlings together with the Californian Poppies are really doing well. The Marigold is slow in growth but getting there, along with the Candytufts.

I have a few more pea pods growing and the spuds can be dug up soon, leaving space for the Brassicas.

Herbs are growing well especially the Coriander which is turning greener now after not liking being re-potted. The yellow and red peppers are doing well in the kitchen.

The lawn is growing and is almost joined up 🙂 The weeds need to be removed from the lawn as well as the containers.

All in all, the garden is beginning to do as I want it to.
