Friday Gardening

Lewis came round today and did some more stuff in the garden to get it ready for summer.

Trimming the lawn in the front and creating the wild meadow hillock in the back garden.

The wild flower seeds from 38 degrees came in handy and were sown into the hillock at the back of the garden.

I don’t know how long it will take for them to germinate, but I am looking forward to seeing them grow over the summer.

We filled the new trough with one of the containers that had raspberries in last year, and followed that by 3 bags of compost ready to sow seeds into over the next week or so.

The Basil doesn’t seem to have liked being transplanted but we will keep our fingers crossed as it will be getting warmer this week.

So, what do I sow next?

Definitely, iceberg lettuce, radish, spring onion, spinach, rocket, beetroot, carrot, cauliflower, cabbage, swede, parsnip, red onions, marigolds and other flowers
