Friday Gardening

Lewis came over to potter about for me.
He trimmed the front lawn and also did a couple of jobs for me in the back garden.
I got him to plant the seed potatoes in one end of the trough and then sow some Kelvedon Wonder peas, so I hope that the birds leave them alone.
I also decided to re-pot the Busy Lizzie (Imara) plug plants into slightly bigger pots to grow them on, I will have to do the rest on Saturday along with the Brussels Sprouts and Parsnips (White Gem) outside.
I might get to sow some Leeks (Musselburg) and Carrot (Autumn King).
As for the sowing I did last weekend, I am pleased to say that the Cherry Toms (Cerise) and the lettuce, (Iceberg Great Lakes) have 3 each germinated seeds.
This is fine because I do not want to be swamped by veg, I just want enough.
I will keep my fingers crossed for the Marigold seeds and the Spring Onions, if no germination occurs, I will try again.
